The Southern Cross is a star formation only visible in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s unique in the fact that it also appears as the series of stars on the Australia flag for this purpose.
Being out on the road away from civilisation its amazing how much light the night sky affords. In some places its been possible to read by moonlight and not require any additional light during the evening.
Whilst we’ve been apart, the Southern Cross has been a kind of focal point for Amber and I to reflect on things. Unfortunately its only been possible for Amber to see this during her time in Berry and there’s a little bit of light pollution in Sydney ;)
