Amazing sights

Rest areas are strange places often viewed with apprehension and fear amongst some but I’ve had nothing but restful times when staying there. It cannot be argued that when another van/trailer turns up its a little more reassuring should anything happen and of course, there’s always the argument that being on your own would mean that nothing else could happen – at least by others!

These photos come from the Twin Falls Rest Area approx 150kms south of Geraldton.

The occassional van will have its music too loud, or running a generator til late but the peace and quiet that can be found is fab. Oh, except for road trains going past.

The isolated areas bring the stars out much brightly that those within the towns and the sunsets seem much more vivid although expect that its partly due to the stops being at the end of a long days drive when you;re glad to be sat down enjoying the rest.

Fingers crossed this all continues.
