Bye ‘Bow, Hi Bundy

After a week in Rainbow and taking in Fraser Island, it’s time to move. We’ve felt like veterans for the last 24 hours seeing friends leave and newcomers arrive and experienced the strange emotions of travelling for the first time.

After an afternoon in Tribal Travel, our itinerary for the next few weeks is now sorted and more importantly paid for…hopefully this will cut down on the rapid expenditure!!!

So, the new plan is as follows:

8 June
Leave Rainbow for Bundaberg

Bill & Mulligan were very excited about the move North to take advantage of the warmer climate and wanted to indulge in a $5.95 Pizza Hut and an early night at the Grand Midpoint Hostel.

9 June
Visit to the Bundaberg Rum Distillery – onward to Agnes Water 1770

10 June
Flight to Middle Island and overnight camping

11 June
Back to 1770 and Scooter Roos motorbike tour

12 June
Look around 1770 – onward to Rockhampton

13 June
Look around Rockhampton – onward to Emu Park

14 June
Visit to Capricorn Caves – overnight in Emu

15 June
Look around Emu Park and onward to Airlie Beach overnight

16 June
Arrive and look around Airlie Beach

17 June
Depart Airlie Beach for 3 days sailing in the Whitsundays aboard “Enid”

20 June
Depart Airlie Beach for Townsville

21 June
Look around Townsville

22 June
Depart Townsville for Magnetic Island Koala Sanctuary

23 June
Look around Magnetic Island
